About Us

An award winning, Baby & pre-school children’s entertainment group

So what is Cha Char Chimps?

Cha Char Chimps is a baby & pre-school children’s entertainment group with a strong community focus, specialising in interactive music shows.

The group aims to prevent social isolation of new parents, provide an enjoyable weekly meet-up for parents, carers, babies and pre-school children, and help develop skills in preparation for Foundation Stage at school. The group organises interactive music shows for accompanied infants on a weekly basis. These shows are conducted in various community centres and village halls, lasting approximately 1 hour per session.

About Us

Fun for the whole Family

Half way through the session, there is a break for refreshments, allowing adults the opportunity to meet or catch up with other parents/carers whose children are of similar ages. This break provides an opportunity for parents and carers to interact and form new friendships.

By creating new friendships between pre-school children before school, the group also assists with the ‘settling in’ process in Foundation Stage.

What to Expect?

Fun Fun Fun

While your child is having fun at our Music Show, they are learning and developing important skills for life. This is also helping their Development. Action songs develop essential language skills and co-ordination.

Co-ordination

Developing co-ordination and co-operating with our Entertainer is encouraged at our Shows, from a very early age! These skills are a great advantage to starting pre-school, nursery or school.

Lots of Singing

Singing songs teaches babies & children about how language is constructed. When you sing, words and phrases are slowed down and can be better understood by your infant.

Well Equipped Venues

All our halls have baby changing areas and car parks. Some are next to play areas, so you can extend your visit or bring a picnic! We sit on chairs (not the floor!).

Treats!

Our legendary chocolate tiffin is included in the entry fee along (where venues are permitting).

Great Prices

Incredible Birthdays

If it’s your child’s birthday around the time of our show, we all sing Happy Birthday and your child can blow out a candle in a cake!
